Genisys Hardware

The Genisys and Genisys Series 2000 product family includes various electronic and mechanical components that can be configured to meet the requirements of a wide range of system applications. Basic components include Controller boards for system supervision and serial communications interfacing, relay-output boards for energizing local N-V relay coils, optical-input boards for monitoring the local N-V relay contacts, interface boards for de code lines, power supply converters and surge suppressor boards for serial links. PCB housings include cardfiles for locations with serial links and local N-V relay interface (or relay interface alone), and enclosures for locations that do not include local N-V interface (serial link interface alone).

Genisys and Genisys Series 2000 Controller application logic may be programmed by the customer using a powerful, highly flexible software development system. This system allows the user to design the logic in familiar relay logic terms; no background in computer programming is required. The development system also includes a software "simulator" for testing and debugging the logic, and equipment for downloading the completed logic to an EPROM chip (Controller PCB installation). Different development systems are provided for Genisys and Genisys Series 2000 Controller boards.
